The Evening of Doubt series is an exploration of the topic of Doubt, part of the journey towards the 2023 edition of the Icarus festival.

Our first evening will draw connections between Improvisation and Doubt in a moment of improvised music, performance art, discussion and reflection. No distinction will be made between artist and audience - everyone is free to play and perform and experience the freedom of improvisation. Let’s allow ourselves not to know, and celebrate the creativity that arises from our uncertainty. A number of Dutch and international students from the Musician 3.0 course of the HKU conservatorium will be present to perform and share their improvisation experiences and doubts alike.
